Nationalbanken privat firma med egeninteresse

Kan det virkelig passe at nationalbanken slet ikke er national, men et internationalt monopolsystem?

Vidste du i øvrigt at den amerikanske centralbank, Federal Reserve, er en privat bank som er ejet af de amerikanske banker i fællesskab?

Nationalbanken har en lang tradition for UAFHÆNGIGHED af det politiske system. Den nuværende nationalbanklov er fra 1936.
Nationalbanken blev oprettet i 1818 for at bringe orden i pengevæsenet efter statsbankerotten i 1813. Først i 1936 blev Nationalbanken en SELVEJENDE INSTITUTION, og det nuværende lovgrundlag for bankens virksomhed er fra samme år.
Nationalbankloven fastlægger blandt andet, at Nationalbankens formål er at opretholde et sikkert pengevæsen og at lette og regulere pengeomsætning og kreditgivning. Nationalbanken er UAFHÆNGIG af Folketing og regering i udformningen af pengepolitikken.

The Chairman of the Board of Governors is Governor by Royal Appointment.
The bank was established on 1 August 1818 by King Frederick VI of Denmark. The private bank was given a 90-year monopoly on currency issue, which was extended in 1907 out to 1938. In 1914, the National Bank became the sole banker for the Danish government. The bank became fully independent of the government in 1936.
