I have a girlfriend to be half a year to London. She wrote to an agency, whose specialty is private housing for people seeking accommodation in London for a short period.
In the letter she received from the bureau, said that the cheapest solution would probably be a one-bedroom apartment, which was available with or without boiling niche and bad. She could also - what is perhaps a preferable in her situation - to choose an apartment on sharing basis.
Last winter, where her parents were 3 weeks in London, contacted the other agency with whom you can rent a furnished apartment that has almost the same services and comforts as a hotel, but where there is more space and more opportunity for privacy.
The reason why they chose this arrangement is that her mother is a sad and unhappy hotel, what you can understand in view of her job involves many business trips.
The stay was a great success and will deploy in the same way each time they are able to do so.

Sadgsad, husk at bemærke ental/flertal!

"last winter, where her parents were 3 weeks in London" får du til "last year, when her parents was in London for 3 weeks" ???
"last winter, when her parents were in London for 3 weeks"

Uforståelig sætning ...

" "that her mother is a sad and unhappy hotel"=forståår jeg ikke en brik af "
=
"... hendes mor er led og ked af ...", som jeg ville oversætte med "... her mother is sick and tired of ..."

Here goes:

I have got a friend who is going to stay in London for a period of six months. She contacted an agency who specialise in private accomodations for people who are staying in London for short periods.
The letter she recieved from the agency, informed her that the cheapest solution would proable be a one bedroom appartment ( bedsit) or she could rent an appartment sharing kitchen and bath, what would probably be the best solution in her case.
The parents contacted another agency after they spend three weeks i London, with whom you can rent an appartment with almost the same facilities and comforts as a hotel, but where you get more room and privacy.
The reason why they chose this arrangement is,the mother weren`t very happy staying in hotels because of her many business trips, what is understandable.
Their trip was a great success and they will be staying like that each time they are able to do so.

Stavning mv.

"proable" staves "probably"
"... spend three weeks i London, with whom you can rent ..."
"with whom" (med hvem) passer ikke ind her. Brug fx "where" i stedet.
"The reason why they chose this arrangement is,the mother weren`t very happy staying"
