Hej :o) er der nogen der kan hjælpe mig med nogle dos komandoer...?
Hvordan skriver jeg følgende komandoer
få vist et underbibliotek
(jeg kan se c:/dokuments and settings - hvordan får jeg vist underbibliotekerne?)
få vist en extern harddisk
(får den til at vise e:/)
få den til at kopiere en fil fra c drevet til e drevet

Vil du se "det hele" - alle under-directories:
dir /ad /s
Vil du se filerne også:
dir /s
Fylder det for meget, kan du få den til at stoppe for hvert skærmbillede ved at sætte /p bagved:
dir /s /p

"få vist en extern harddisk"
(får den til at vise e:/)
dir e:\ /s /p
(alle filer, stopper for hvert skærmbillede)

"få den til at kopiere en fil fra c drevet til e drevet"
xcopy fil e:\
kopierer filen "fil" til roden på e-drevet.
xcopy fil e:\dir\subdir\
kopierer filen "fil" til directory subdir i directory dir på e-drevet.
Bemærk den afsluttende \ - den gør, at du slipper for et spørgsmål om det er et filnavn eller et directory, du vil kopiere til.
Det kan naturligvis ikke leve op til de gode svar, du har fået, men måske er det lettere at gennemskue ?

du har det med at skrive skråstregeer "/" - du skal bruge backslash (baglæns skråstreg) "\" ved directory-stier.

cd "\documents and settings"
DOS er ligeglad med store eller små bogstaver, men skal du "et sted hen", hvor der er mellemrum i navnet, skal du have gåseøjne " omkring.
Skal du over på et andet drev, skal det ske ad 2 omgange:
e: - skifter til det rigtige drev
cd \dir\subdir - skifter til det rigtige directory
"Hvordan kopierer man en hel directory?"
Hvis du står, så directoryet, du vil kopiere, kan ses med en "dir /ad"
xcopy dirnavn \modtager\ /s - kopierer hele directory "dirnavn" og alt, hvad der er derunder til directory "modtager" i roden.
Skal det over på en anden disk, er det meget lig:
xcopy dirnavn e:\ /s

Men for 40 år siden var jeg faktisk en habil programmør - relativt set ;-)
Konkurrencen var jo ikke så stor dengang. Og så var der status i skidtet :-)

Der var jeg 6år... og min første Mainfram mødte jeg som 15årig.. da det var hulkort og hulstrimler.. og sproget var basic... Dos kom da først med IBM-pc'en nogen år senere ?
Men roder du ikke med programmering mere.. feks html ?

Du har ret - der er faktisk 8 måneder til mit 40-års jubilæum.
Og det var ikke DOS (som først kom i 80'erne), det var IBM system /360 :-)

Dos skripts.. er da meget anvendeligt..?

Mange af de små rutiner, der gør det nemmere at vedligholde et modernet Server/netværk-system, blive da udført at små dos-skripts... !!
Så du kan stadig blive IT-Managerens, højre hånd, til en god løn... ;o)

når du er ved et drev, fx c:\
kan du skrive kommandoen "dir" og se filerne som er indeholdt i drevet. Altså: c:\dir
hvis du der fra vi ind i en mappe skriver du "cd mappens navn".
